Well, this started out as a blog for Marky, Slash & Levy and is turning into a hodge podge of my writing in general, if only I had the internet at my home to do this nightly, instead of on Sundays.
I wanted to fill you in on the awesome news last week I received about Barney & Lexi. Last week the wonderful Nicole, whom I met at the Connecticut Fiction Fest last year in New Haven. Read B&L and like it and expressed some interest in it after she sells a project she currently has! That’s the best news I have received in the eight years, since I began Bk1 of Marky, Slash & Levy! So with fingers crossed, a little knock on wood and a little prayer, I am grateful for such wonderful news!
I also have a ton of works going on at the same time! I have started on my sixth book entitled: ‘The Boondock Kids’ which will be fantasy based. It will be my first book to cover both the real world as well as the fantasy realm. I hope to complete it by next summer! However, Marky, Slash & Levy was only set to be one book, thus, we’ll see how TBK turns out!
I have also began a darker project I will simply title “Jack” right now with my best friend’s Marky (a.k.a. Marky) sister A.B. Walters! It is very interesting because, it is darker but exciting being a collaboration with a good friend. I look for it to be a multi-book series as well!
I am also preparing to begin the ‘Summer’ phase of my four volume picture book of Lawrence County, Illinois. I have over 1,500 photos and that is not even covering the whole county one time through one season yet!
Well, I must say that I feel as though I am dropping all of this on you and then skipping town with me not having the net at home, but it is what it is I figure. I was asked if I had a P.O. Box so I could receive post mail, which I said no, perhaps it would be an awesome way to connect with you, my faithful readers, as I am ever so grateful that you take the time to read my hodge podge of gibber jabber.
Let me end tonight, (so my parents can go to bed, lol) by saying what has gotten me to this wonderful cross roads in my life: “Live With Passion”!
