Blind Faith

After a very rough beginning and middle of the week. I am left with a sense of self. A few days of some setbacks have left me with a sense of self-worth. I mean, there is no way I have felt so good for such a short time, if I really didn’t feel I was deserving of it. At the bottom, so to speak, is the best place to look up!

Sometimes things happen and sometimes things happening are also a great thing. After some reflection while writing two more pages of Bk4 tonight, I find myself immediately climbing back on the horse and  declaring, “I ain’t heard no bell!” After stumbling over the last couple days, I refreshingly find myself, dusting off, taking in the moment and getting back to it!

“It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving’ forward, how much you can take and keep moving’ forward!”

A Brief Meeting with the Council

Mutter and Whisper go before the Collective Council and are met with part appreciation and part shock that Lord Timberknot had not sent more warriors. The Mutter uses his newly resurfaced verbal skills to make Whisper shine as the best warrior within the Palace of Dry. An honor Whisper secretly appreciates.

They three Guards of Ira storm into the Great Hall and notify the council of an event just outside the palace walls. The Council, the guards followed by Mutter and Whisper take a spiral stone stairwell to a large walkway, overlooking the courtyard and land beyond the palace walls. They witness a massive opening in the surface of the desert, much like the ones Marky, Slash & Levy had seen, only much larger.

After some questioning, it is determined that this geographic event is cause by Quaker with the help of the Doomsday Device. All begin to fear that a clash of good and evil is near at hand.
